It’s a dozen years in prison for the man who hit and killed a popular Milwaukee pastor last fall.
A judge sentenced Jose Silva to 12 years behind bars and another six years of probation.
Last October, Silva collided with Pastor Aaron Strong while he was late for jury service.
That morning, Strong was en route to work.
The trial’s judge expressed his hope that Silva’s severe punishment will deter irresponsible driving in Milwaukee.
