The 11 police officers who used their weapons in a shooting back in January have been exonerated by prosecutors.
According to the D.A. for Racine County, the cops didn’t start firing until 24-year-old Hunter Hanson twice pointed a gun at them.
In fact, according to state authorities, Hanson requested that police shoot him.
In addition to escaping his house detention at the time, Hanson was wanted for chopping off his GPS ankle tag.
Seven of the 11 officers that opened fire were deputies from Racine County, three were deputies from Kenosha County, and one was a state trooper.
According to investigators, they fired over 75 times.
