A 23-year-old Green Bay man has officially been charged in a hit-and-run from earlier this week that killed a 73-year-old woman.
Trevor Scheel is facing charges of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle and Hit and Run Causing Death.
The incident occurred at the intersection of West Mason Street and 16th Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
Scheel told officers that he had consumed two drinks at the casino before he hit Roselita Helms, also of Green Bay, who died at a hospital from her injuries.
Scheel fled the scene but was apprehended shortly after.
His bail has been set at $100,000 cash, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 28th.
