The Village of Cleveland is hard at work taking care of numerous dead and dying ash trees.
Last year, the Village received a $10,000 Restoration of Our Trees – Sheboygan (ROOTS) Grant to help take down the problem trees and plant replacements. The project kicked off last fall.
This Saturday, on Earth Day, the Village and representatives from ROOTS will be at Dairyland Park in Cleveland to host a ceremonial groundbreaking and an educational overview of the project.
The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the park, located on Dairyland Drive in Cleveland with representatives from the Local Lions Club, ROOTS, and Village Officials slated to address those in attendance.
