Students at UW Green Bay Campuses will be paying more for their education in the coming years.
UWGB announced that as a part of their “One University, Four Locations” initiative, tuiton will be going up at the Manitowoc, Sheboygan, and Marinette campuses by about $1,300 over the next four years.
The reason for the increase is cited as fairness. Students at the Green Bay campus were paying more than those at the satellite locations, despite all four-offering similar four-year programs.
Even if there aren’t in-person classes for a particular degree, if a class is offered online at the home campus, students at any of the other locations can take that class, broadening their educational opportunities.
This is the same for high school students in the Rising Phoenix program.
