Manitowoc County’s FORWARD Endowment recently received a very generous donation from the Pine River Sportsman’s Club.
The club based in Richland Center Wisconsin wrote a check out for $1,000 to the endowment which helps support local outdoor organizations and projects.
FORWARD, which stands for Friends Of Resources, Wildlife And Recreational Development, is also celebrating 30 years this year, as the trust was formed by the Manitowoc Unit of Fish and Game in 1993 with a $50,000 estate gift.
Since then, the fund has provided over $138,000 in grants awarded to projects and groups in Manitowoc County.
