Even though Darrell Brooks is now broke, but any money he ever makes will be given to his victims.
A Waukesha County court raised Brooks’ reparation payments to more than $500,000 yesterday.
Initially, he was ordered to make reparation payments totaling slightly over $171,000 to his victims’ insurance companies.
The court stated that she didn’t want Brooks to sell his narrative and make money off of it, despite the prosecution’s assertions to the contrary.
Six life sentences were given to Brooks for cutting through the crowd at the procession in 2021.
