Much like their opening series, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers could not repeat the success of Tuesday’s matchup with Peoria yesterday, falling 7-6 to the Chiefs.
The Rattlers entered the 9th inning down by only a run when the Chief plated one more to improve their lead to two.
The Rattlers were able to drive in one more run, but fell short in their comeback bid.
Robert Moore led the way offensively for the home team, picking up three hits in five plate appearances, and driving in a pair of runs, including a home run in the 9th.
Eduardo Garcia also hit a long ball, while Je’Von Ward and Terence Doston each picked up a pair of hits.
Taylor Floyd absorbed the loss.
Game three of the series is scheduled for 6:40 this evening at Fox Cities Stadium.
