Wisconsin’s attorney general is joining the county’s other Democratic A-Gs in pushing to allow women to continue to have access to the abortion pill.
Attorney General Josh Kaul, and 23 other AGs recently signed a letter requesting an appeals court to overturn a Texas federal judge’s decision to rescind the FDA’s approval of mifepristone.
Without access to the abortion pill, according to Kaul and the others, there will be an increase in late-term abortions, sick and underprivileged children, and “educational disparities.”
The Texas decision conflicts with a Washington state federal court’s injunction not to change how the abortion pill is distributed in the United States.
