Kiel High School’s Robotics Team has captured the regional championship and is advancing to the FIRST Championships in Houston Texas.
The team, known as the Bond Brigade, has spent the past three months working hard on their design, building, and programming of their robot throughout the winter months.
They even participated in weekly meetings at the Lakeshore Robotics Center along with other schools/members of the Lakeshore FIRST Robotics Program.
Bond Brigade Joined Forces with two teams from Illinois to form the top-ranked alliance squad in the playoff rounds in La Crosse at the end of March, and with their brain powers combined, the group took home the gold.
Up next is the national championship tournament in Houston, which will take place April 19th through the 22nd.
