Charges have now officially been filed against the man involved in a standoff with the Appleton Police Department.
Torey Robinson has been charged with 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, and being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
The incident all started on Monday at around 3:00 a.m. when officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of North Leminwah on a report of shots being fired.
When they arrived, additional shots were heard coming from a residence, and the officers made contact with a man inside.
Robinson then stepped outside, fired a rifle into the air, and went inside.
SWAT and crisis negotiators were called to the scene, and Robinson eventually surrendered.
