The gas prices in eastern Wisconsin rose significantly over the past week.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of fuel jumped 12 cents since this time last week, now averaging $3.42.
Sheboygan County reported an eight-cent increase over that time span to an average of $3.41, while Calumet County saw an 11-cent spike to $3.45.
Outagamie County motorists are paying 17 cents more per gallon this week and now average $3.42, while Brown County’s average is up 13 cents to $3.41.
Kewaunee County saw a nine-cent jump since last week, now averaging $3.39, and Door County reported a 15-cent jump to $3.42.
The state average took a massive leap upward, rising 28 cents to $3.60 while the national average actually dipped 2 cents to $3.48 per gallon.
