Few details are known about the events that preceded the deadly firefight in western Wisconsin that claimed the lives of two police officers.
In Cameron, located in Barron County, it occurred on Saturday afternoon.
Investigators claim that the person they stopped also perished, along with two officers from Cameron and Chetek.
Governor Evers and police departments from all throughout Wisconsin offered their sympathies and best wishes to the two communities.
The investigation is being conducted by the state’s Department of Justice.
