The construction of an Olive Garden restaurant in Sheboygan is now officially underway.
Crews broke ground last week Thursday on the Italian chain restaurant at the northeast corner of Highway 42 and I-43 in the Town of Sheboygan.
The 6,500-square-foot eatery is expected to have between 50 and 60 tables which will be able to accommodate between 200 and 250 guests.
Joseph Schmitt Construction will be responsible for the actual construction of the building, which aims to be operational by early 2024.
