Details are very scarce right now, but we have learned that the Kaukauna Police Department is on the scene of what they are calling an “active incident”.
The Brown and Outagamie County Bomb squads are also on hand with their tactical vehicles near a red pickup truck on the side of Fieldcrest Drive near Highway CE.
Motorists and the public are being asked to avoid the area until further notice.
The incident is also near Dr. H.B. Tanner Elementary School, but as classes are out for spring break, there is no worry about student safety.
