A man who claims to have driven for DoorDash and has a suspended license is accused of running a lady down on Capitol Drive last week.
Yesterday, official charges were brought against Latrell Katherine, 27, for the murder of Tesa Steele, 35.
She was struck by Katherine last Thursday as she crossed the roadway, according to the police.
He allegedly admitted to attempting to avoid an SUV and not realizing he had struck anyone until after the fact, according to investigators.
Katherine shouldn’t have been behind the wheel, according to the prosecution, but he allegedly admitted to lying to DoorDash and saying he was making deliveries on a cycle at the time.
