Manitowoc Lincoln won its Girls Softball opener Monday afternoon and did so with quite a splash.
The visiting Ships blanked Sheboygan South 20-0 on a 4-inning no-hitter by Karenna Sorenson.
Lincoln Coach Ashley Bauer told us that Sorenson helped her own cause at the plate where she went 3-for-4 with a triple, 2 singles and 3-RBI.
Kailee Ansorge was 2-for-3 including an inside-the-park homerun and 2 walks.
Olivia Konkle, Ana Sanchez, and Morgan Dietrich added 2 hits apiece with that trio combining for 5 runs batted in.
