This is not an April Fools joke.
The gas prices in eastern Wisconsin rose pretty significantly since this time last week.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price per gallon in Manitowoc County rose eight cents since last Tuesday, now sitting at $3.30.
Sheboygan County also reported an eight-cent increase to $3.33 while Calumet County saw the largest jump in the area, ballooning 12 cents to $3,34.
Outagamie County motorists are paying four cents more per gallon this week, an average of $3.25, while Brown and Kewaunee Counties each saw a six-cent swell to $3.28 and $3.30 respectively.
Door County meanwhile saw an increase of seven cents per gallon and now are averaging $3.27.
The state average jumped 10 cents to $3.32 while the national average rose seven cents to $3.50.
