The Leo Frigo Bridge in Green Bay is going to have some lane closures for a while.
The Wisconsin DOT has announced that starting today, the northernmost bridge over the Fox River will have lane closures in both the north and southbound directions through the fall as they work on painting the bridge.
This $5 million project will also include the installation of lighting on the structure that connects I-43 on each side of the river.
The speed limit on the bridge will also be reduced to 55 MPH.
Those seeking I-43 access from Atkinson Drive will have to continue on US 141 to WIS 57 to Webster Avenue and use the Webster Avenue ramp to join I-43.
The full project details can be found on the DOT website.
