The elderly man and his two sons, who perished in a Milwaukee house fire, have been named by police.
They have been identified as Ernest Ray, Sr., who is 83 years old, Ernest Ray, Jr., 57, and Erwin Ray, 53.
On Wednesday morning, a fire broke out at the homes of the three men on 33rd and Fairmount.
All three men perished. Ernest Beam, Sr. spent nine years as a deacon.
He has been giving talks at United Christian Church for the past few months.
Deacon Ray was praised by Pastor Dimitri Mack for being devoted, humble, and a loving father to his seven children.
