An Iowa man has been killed in a logging accident in Richland County this week.
Officials say he was 54-year-old Joseph Abitz of Dubuque.
On Wednesday, he was repairing a log skidder when he was struck in the face by a hydraulic line. and did not respond to EMS’ arrival.
At Richland Hospital, he was pronounced dead.
