
Several students from Lakeshore Technical College are preparing to compete in Madison late next month.
The six students will be among the more than 1,800 that will be participating in the 50th annual SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Leadership and Skills Conference in the Alliant Energy Center on April 25th and 26th.
The event organizers tell us that two area high school students that are taking college coursework competing in Precision Machining, two LTC students will be in the Precision Machining and CNC competition, and two more will participate in the Industrial Robotics competition.
There are over 80 different competitions being held that weekend, each showcasing a different STEM-related skill.
