A student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has admitted making terrorist threats in response to a post he made in the fall on YikYak.
Mason Waymire admitted to posting that “there’s a bomb at Towers,” a campus residence hall, had a bomb after a night of drinking.
Waymire stated that it was a dare.
The request bargain implies he needs to stay sober for 18 months, compose an expression of remorse letter to the grounds, and not perpetrate violations.
