The leaders in the Village of Ashwaubenon are on board with bringing the NFL draft to Green Bay in 2025.
The Village Board voted unanimously to approve pledging to provide services during the draft if it were to come to Lambeau Field.
These services would include public safety, public works, street closures, and emergency evacuation plans, among others.
The Village Board had to be on board since Lambeau Field is technically located in the Village of Ashwaubenon, despite the team being named after Green Bay.
If the draft were to come to Lambeau Field, it would be expected to bring around $20 million in additional revenue to Brown County, and up to $90 million into the state as a whole.
