
The trial for an Appleton man accused of robbing and stabbing two people just over two years ago began Monday.
32-year-old Cornelius Pearson is facing two counts of Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, as well as Armed Robbery, Burglary While Armed with a Dangerous Weapon, and Felony Bail Jumping.
On March 19th, 2021, officers were called to the 2600 block of North Richmond Street in Appleton on a report of a stabbing.
The two victims were taken with significant injuries to a local hospital.
Investigators followed a trail of blood through public and private property before arresting Pearson.
If convicted on all charges, Pearson could be ordered to spend as many as 181 years in prison.
