A 42-year-old La Crosse man is having to deal with meth conveyance penalties after police found 6,000 bucks of the medications at his home.
In addition, Alfredo Almanza was charged with operating a drug house, possessing drug paraphernalia, and obtaining prescription drugs without a prescription.
Before admitting that a small amount of meth was present, he admitted to police that he was unaware of any drugs in the residence.
Additionally, 51 Clonazepam pills, a digital scale, and over $1,100 in cash were seized by the police.
