The woman charged with the grizzly murder of Shad Thyrion in Green Bay just over a year ago has been deemed competent to stand trial.
25-year-old Taylor Schabusiness received that news from Judge Thomas Walsh last Friday.
That was one of many competency hearings held in court, where mental health experts hired both by the defense and by the court gave their opinions on whether Schabusiness could aid in her own defense.
Her trial is scheduled to begin on July 24st, with jury selection on the books for July 21st.
Schabusiness is accused of killing and dismembering Thyrion in February of last year, causing shockwaves around the country.
She is currently being held on a $2 million cash bond.
