The case against a 22-year-old Green Bay man in a stabbing case has been suspended after he was deemed not competent to stand trial.
Abdullah Ali was facing numerous charges, including First Degree Reckless Injury with Use of a Dangerous Weapon and Bodily Harm to a Health Care Provider.
Ali was arrested in February after he allegedly stabbed his 52-year-old father while at the Islamic Society of Wisconsin in Green Bay.
The victim, who suffered five stab wounds, did survive the attack.
Ali was taken to a local hospital as well, where he reportedly bit a nurse.
His father told the court that he had taken Ali to the doctor earlier in the day for schizophrenia treatment.
At last word, Ali remains in the Brown County Jail.
