A De Pere man has been arrested for his role in the death of a California man nearly 35 years ago.
According to the Fontana California Police Department, 63-year-old Kelvin Keith Emmons is facing charges in the death of Angel Martinez, who was reported missing June 8th, 1988.
His body was located in La Paz County Arizona 18 days later.
The case remained open ever since, with forensic testing conducted earlier this month connecting Emmons to the case.
Cold Case Detectives from Fontana traveled to De Pere on March 15th, where they met with the De Pere Police Department to apprehend Emmons.
He is currently in the Brown County Jail and is awaiting extradition.
