A sexual assault that occurred last week in Oregon is under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say that a woman reported that she was walking on the Oregon Rotary Bike Trail when a man ran at her, tackled her to the ground, and sexually assaulted her.
The incident occurred on Thursday just off County Highway D. Before being taken to the hospital, she was able to repel him and flee to a nearby residence.
The attacker is being sought out through a search.
