Back in November, we reported on a renovation project at Ascend Services, where they were re-doing several rooms in their Community Center.
Deanna Genske, the Executive Director of Ascend Services told us that they were working on refurbishing several rooms for a variety of uses.
In their First Quarter Newsletter, Ascend announced that the project is complete, and the rooms are being utilized.
The five rooms were transformed into an Arts and Crafts room, a STEM Room, a Board Game room, a Sensory Room, a Library, and a Music room.
Also upstairs they are able to offer the youth two cozy, comfortable areas where they can do their homework or just take time to relax and visit after a long day.
Ascend also gave a “huge thank you to the Burmester Grant that allowed us to fully furnish the rooms.”
The project was conducted by Hamann Construction.
