The Two Rivers Police Department has announced that they will soon have another furry friend on the team.
The Department, in partnership with the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Death Response Team, will be getting a therapy dog from Blueberry Cottage Labradoodles.
This new dog would be responsible for comforting those who have been through a traumatic situation, whether that be a citizen or a police officer.
The timeline for this new addition was not revealed, but the Department’s K9 Officer Xanti is said to be studying hard to learn how to mentor his new partner.
