Five people have been incarcerated as a result of the Jackson County death investigation, which now includes a murder charge.
Star Myers, 49, of Black River Falls, was charged with first-degree intentional homicide this week by prosecutors.
According to the investigation, she fatally shot a man in the head after he informed her that he had been sleeping with other women.
The four others in the case were taken into custody on suspicion of drug possession or obstruction.
In addition, Myers is being charged with drug offenses, including fentanyl and meth possession with intent.
