As part of a child abuse investigation, the top man at Racine County’s emergency management office is out of a job and faces decades in prison.
Jay Kerner and his wife Tiana were the targets of formal charges brought by Kenosha County prosecutors.
Two children were allegedly waterboarded and beaten, according to the investigation.
The case started in 2020.
On Wednesday, Kerner was fired, and he faces ten different charges.
In the case, his wife is facing 20 charges.
