The young man who was apprehended after he was filmed loading a gun inside the UW-Milwaukee library claims he was just there to get high.
25-year-old Elmo Daniels told Milwaukee’s prosecutors he had a gun and pulled it out in the library, according to the charges.
However, he claims that he was only there to get high. Daniels was detained by police last week as he left the library.
According to the D.A., Daniels also admitted to sleeping at the library and using the library’s wifi there at times.
After his arrest, he was released, and UW-Milwaukee Police are now seeking assistance in locating him.
