As Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry continues its expansion process, the DNR was called to conduct an air pollution control test at the facility in Manitowoc.
The expansion is taking place on their current plot of land, located in the 800 block of South 16th Street.
Following their analysis, the DNR has determined that WAF’s application “meets state and federal air pollution control requirements and that the permit may be approved.”
The public is welcome to review the permit application on the DNR website and submit questions or concerns to Dave Minkey via email at David.Minkey@Wisconsin.gov.
If you prefer snail mail, you can send your comments to the Department of Natural Resources, Northeast Region Air Program, 2984 Shawano Avenue, Green Bay, WI, 54313-6727 Attn: Dave Minkey.
