
The UW Green bay Lady Phoenix saw their season come to an end last night at the hands of Bowling Green.
The Phoenix fell 69-51 to the Falcons at the Kress Events Center.
The game, which was in the second round of the WNIT, was tied after the first quarter, but the Phoenix struggled in the second quarter, only managing 5 points.
The Falcons cruised from there, securing their spot in the third round of the tournament.
It was an all-around bad shooting night for Green Bay, as they shot 26% from the floor, and 33% from beyond the arc.
The only player to score double digits for the home team was Jasmine Kondrakiewicz who netted 11.
UWGB’s season comes to an end with a record of 28-6, which included two 10+ game win streaks.
