The Wisconsin Historical Society has just announced the listing of the Ruth St. John and John Dunham West House and West of the Lake Gardens in the National Register of Historic Places on February 17th, 2023.
The house was constructed in 1934 and designed in the Streamline Modern style, and the property expanded over time to include large gardens.
The property is now operated by the Ruth St. John and John Dunham West Foundation to continue to honor the couple’s joy of garden cultivation for many years to come.
