A former Eau Claire man could serve 26 years in prison under a plea deal.
Friday, Trenton Wik entered a guilty plea to the charge of first-degree reckless homicide by drug delivery.
In December of 2020, a man’s body was discovered in his car on Cochrane Street by police. The man who died was given the drugs that killed him by Wik.
In 2021, Wik also pleaded guilty to getting into a fight in the jail that hurt another inmate.
