The DATCP has announced the finalists for the 76th Annual Alice in Dairyland competition, and a local woman made the cut.
Lydia Luebke, who was also the 2020/2021 Fairest of the Fair in Manitowoc County, is one of the six women vying for the crown and sash this year.
Lydia, a Kiel native, earned her Associate’s degree with an emphasis in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus in 2019, then earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science with a minor in Agricultural Business from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls in 2021.
She is currently employed at Sargento Foods, Inc. as a microbiology specialist.
She will be squaring off against Ashley Hagenow of Poynette, Shannon Lamb of Dane, Jackie Rosenbush of Sarona, Charitee Seebecker of Mauston, and Jodie Weyland of Neenah.
The three-day Alice in Dairyland Finals are scheduled for May 11th through the 13th in Walworth County.
