The postseason honors keep rolling in, this time in the Big East South Division for Boys Basketball.
Earning the Player of the Year Honor was Matt Merlo of Random Lake.
He was also named to the first team while his teammates Mitchel Hiller made the second team, and Reid Rydzewski was an honorable mention.
Oostburg was well represented, with JJ Zavatchin and Cade Dirske making the top squad, and Lucas Stewart earning an honorable mention.
Kohler’s Trey Keller also made the first team, with his teammate Reece Breitenbach on the second squad.
Rounding out the first team honorees was Noah Heinen of Sheboygan Christian, while Ozaukee players Connor Rennicke and Arron Nehls were named to the second team and Bret Hamm was an honorable mention.
Parker Knight of Cedar Grove Belgium rounds out the second team honorees, while Sheboygan Lutheran seniors Zach Glewen and Tony Schmitz were also named honorable mentions.
