An Oshkosh resident had a major scare Monday when they found suspicious material in their mail.
They immediately called the Oshkosh Police Department, and officers arrived at the residence in the 200 block of North Eagle Street at around 10:30 a.m.
The Hazardous Material teams from Oshkosh and Appleton Fire Departments also were called to investigate.
It was determined that the material was non-hazardous but it has not yet been said what it was.
The investigation is ongoing.
