All of the counties in our area reported increases in their gas prices except for one.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of fuel dipped 4 cents to $3.26 over the past seven days.
Sheboygan County, however, saw a seven-cent spike to $3.33 while Calumet County reported an increase of a single penny to $3.29.
Outagamie County comes in this week with the largest increase, jumping 10 cents to $3.32, while Brown County fuel is six cents more expensive, averaging $3.30 per gallon.
Kewaunee County motorists are paying eight cents more at the pump this week, with an average of $3.29, while Door County saw a three-cent bump, also averaging $3.29.
The state and national averages each rose six cents to $3.30 and $3.46 respectively.
When compared to where we were at this point last year, our area average is 66 cents less expensive in 2023.
Last year at this time we were averaging $3.96 per gallon in the seven-county area we cover, and this year we are at $3.30 per gallon.
