The infant who was discovered dead in a Whitewater field now has a little bit more information.
The baby, who was less than 48 hours old, was a boy, according to the authorities yesterday.
On March 4, the young boy was discovered in a field on the north side of Whitewater in a bag and inside a cardboard box by Whitewater Police.
The baby’s parents and the cause of death are still unknown.
The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are seeking information.
