A Sheboygan man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted and robbed an 11-year-old boy.
The young man was said to be walking home with a shopping bag full of items late Sunday morning when the suspect attacked him and took the bag.
The Sheboygan Police Department was informed of the mugging and responded to canvas the area
He was quickly located and arrested, thanks in no small part to the young man who was able to give a very accurate and detailed description.
The boy was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The assailant is expected to be charged with Robbery and Physical Abuse of a Child.
