Three police officers in Dunn County have been cleared by prosecutors after a fatal shooting in January.
The D.A. recently said a Dunn Region delegate and two Menomonie cops were legitimate when they shot and killed 45-year-old Nicholas Ciccarelli after a traffic stop.
Following a reported home invasion, police were looking for Ciccarelli.
According to the prosecution, before the officers shot Ciccarelli, he pointed his gun at one of them.
Ciccarelli was high on meth at the time, according to the D.A., who claims that the officers had no choice.
