State Sen. André Jacque has announced that Collette Ullman from Sturgeon Bay High School will be representing the 1st Senate District in next week’s session of the 2023 Senate Scholar program.
Collette, daughter of Rebecca and Terry Ullman, is one of 33 students from around the state selected to represent their District in the weeklong program.
The Senate Scholar Program consists of an advanced government curriculum that includes classroom instruction, roundtable discussion sections, and a lab component.
Experts teach Scholars about constituent relations, research and development of legislation, and bill drafting.
Scholars also engage in roundtable discussions with legislative support agency directors and staff, media, and lobbyists throughout the week, resulting in further insight into all facets of the legislative process.
