The Sheboygan Police Department has a simple message for motorists.
Stop.
The Department says they have noticed an ongoing issue with motorists not coming to a complete stop at stop signs, an issue they have termed the “Sheboygan Roll”.
To help curb this trend, the SPD has announced that they will be keeping an extra watchful eye out for drivers that roll through stop signs.
Much like the Click It or Ticket campaign, the point of this campaign is not to issue more tickets, but rather to help keep drivers and passengers safe on city streets.
So, when you see the red octagon, be sure you come to a complete stop before proceeding through the intersection.
