Oshkosh Defense is challenging the military’s decision to use a different company to build the new tactical vehicle.
Oshkosh Defense filed a formal protest Tuesday against the decision to award AM General a contract for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle worth nearly nine billion dollars.
Tim Bleck, vice president of Oshkosh, claims that the Pentagon did not “properly review the financial, technical, and manufacturing capabilities” when selecting a vendor.
Oshkosh Defense asserts that it can provide taxpayers with a better value.
