The oldest living veteran in Manitowoc County has passed away.
Harold E. Kummer was 96 years old when he breathed his last breath while living at the Villas of Felician Village in Manitowoc.
Harold was born in 1926 in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School before joining the Army.

The funeral service for Harold Kummer will be held on Friday (March 10th) at St. Francis of Assisi, located at 1121 North 14th Street in Manitowoc.
Reverend Jason Blahnik will conduct the service, which will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Military honors will be accorded at the church immediately following Mass by Otto-Oas VFW Post #659.
